An exciting charity event is taking place in the Centre on Thursday, 15 September, as QueensPlaza has partnered with The Property Industry Foundation (PIF) to hold a fundraising SleepOut on the rooftop. This collaboration will assist in raising funds for homeless youth and domestic violence victims. As we are all aware there is a major housing crisis in Queensland, which affects those less fortunate than us to a far greater degree. Funds raised in the SleepOut event will be distributed to PIF’s upcoming projects and partnerships within Queensland to help build youth accommodation and support centres for homeless youth. These facilities will not only provide a safe place for them to call home but also offer necessary support for them to transition back into everyday life.
