We are so excited to launch #QPStreetStyle, a celebration of YOU and your individual style!
Street Style originates from British fashion culture and celebrates individualism and different interpretations of trends. We now see Street Style celebrated all over the globe from New York to Tokyo to Beijing and of course - Brisbane.
With travel off the cards for now, we are serving up some international Fashion Week vibes to the Queen Street Mall.
We love seeing how our customers style their everyday pieces and quintessential Queensland style featuring Australian and International designers alike. Keep your eyes peeled on our socials throughout February as we highlight some local city dwellers who have exceptional style to inspire you this season.
Get excited for the season ahead, kicking off with our homegrown ambassador, Tess Alexander, alongside designer connoisseur Gina Kim.
Tess | Dior short, vest, skirt and boots.
The Christian Dior resort 2021 collection pays homage to the rites, traditions, and craftsmanship of the southern Italian region of Puglia. The collection features pinafore dresses, blanket-fringe skirts, hand-knit sweaters, and kerchiefs designed to be worn in the hair.
Tess Alexander put it perfectly, “It's a good day when you are dressed head to toe in Dior! This look had so many pieces that were (very) special stand-alone pieces, but when they all came together for the final look?! Divine!”
Shop Christian Dior’s ready to wear range at their only Queensland store.

Gina | Rixo blouse & skirt (David Jones), sass & bide belt.
With Street Style originating in London, it was only fitting for Gina to showcase British label, Rixo, which is now stocked in David Jones at QueensPlaza.
The label was founded in 2015 and has achieved cult-status with its eclectic clashing of prints, florals and unbelievably flattering cuts.
The brand is passionate about inclusivity and female empowerment, so it was only natural that this was Gina’s favourite look, thanks to its “sophistication and beautiful silhouette”.
Tess | sass & bide dress & shorts, David Jones bucket hat, Fendi micro-bag.
Romance is not dead with this incredibly feminine look by sass & bide. The dress is beautiful on its own, but we love the stylish edge of unbuttoning the front and pairing with shorts, sneakers and (naturally) a pink micro-bag by Fendi.
If this outfit doesn’t scream Valentine’s Day, we don’t know what does.
Gina | Camilla & Marc dress (David Jones), TOL Sunglasses (Viktoria & Woods), Burberry scarf (on head), Chanel sneakers.
The feeling is neutral with this edgy shirt dress by Camilla & Marc, stocked in David Jones at QueensPlaza. Gina looks effortlessly styled down with a Burberry scarf in the hair, nude TOL sunglasses (available at Viktoria & Woods) and Gina’s own Chanel sneakers because, why not?
This looks is so perfect for transeasonal dressing in Queensland. We are all about style and comfort, after all!
Tess | Alice McCall suit, Paspaley necklace.
Alice McCall is taking no prisoners this season with their punchy and colourful designs, and we are here for it!
If you never knew you needed an embellished, blue velvet suit until now, you aren’t alone. Visit the exclusive to Queensland store for a collection that plays with layers, textures, hemlines whilst still embracing that Alice McCall DNA.
Tess said this look is “feminine yet powerful and super versatile!” and we couldn’t agree more.
Gina | sass & bide dress & jeans, Fendi Peekaboo bag, Dior shoes (Gina’s own).
Sass & bide is always reliable for the versatility of their pieces and this season is absolutely no exception. So many of their pieces can be worn as is or add a little edge some layers.
Gina’s look goes from strength to strength in movement, with the crisp white shirt flowing open to show off the waxed jeans underneath. The addition of this nude Fendi Peekaboo bag softens the classic monochrome look.
Tess | Viktoria & Woods trousers, crop, shirt & trench, Burberry bag.
Another Queensland exclusive, Viktoria & Woods never disappoints. Their timeless and perfectly tailored Australian made staples are designed, no doubt, to be worn season after season. The quality of their fit is undeniable.
We only hope Tess wears this look to the office and pops a few buttons before striding into some evening drinks.
Gina | Camilla dress & belt.
Camilla is keeping us on our toes this season! We are loving that her pieces can be worn to look feminine or paired back with the addition of a statement belt.
The almost gothic feel to this look demands presence, especially when you see the sheer skirt cascading behind you.
Stay tuned for more #QPStreetStyle.
