Returning for another year on Thursday 26th October QueenPlaza held their annual soirée, exclusive to VIP customers and guests. Hosted in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Brisbane, the Queensland Ballet and Moët & Chandon, QueensPlaza invited VIP customers to enjoy an exclusive after-hours evening filled with fashion, food, entertainment – and of course, shopping.
Luxury retailers on the Ground Floor and Australian designers on Level 1 kept their doors open well into the evening, allowing guests to peruse new season collections and pick up the latest pieces they’ve had their eye on. And it was all for a good cause. For every $5,000 that was spent, QueensPlaza donated $150 to their charity partner Canteen. Customers also went in the draw to win a $5,000 QueensPlaza gift card as well as a Mercedes-Benz AMG Drive Experience Weekend with a one night stay at The Langham Hotel and a double pass to the opening night of The Nutcracker, by the Queensland Ballet.
Kicking off at 7pm, guests arrived to ever-flowing bottles of Moët & Chandon (there was even a Moët Piccolo vending machine upstairs on Level 1), delicious canapes and desserts. Fendi also hosted their own pop-up gelato stand with mixed berry and hazelnut flavours on offer.
Throughout the evening, Australian journalist, and television presenter Kendal Gilding (dressed in Aje) was on hand to emcee, while DJ Semi Yul (dressed in Fendi) from Sydney was on the decks. The Queensland Ballet even stopped by for an incredible performance outside of the Fendi boutique, while The Huxleys, a formidable performance art duo, were roaming the event in different costumes, taking photos, and posing with guests.
