#QPStreetStyle is back with a vengeance this month! Think of us as the Brisbane Big Brother of fashion.. we have our eyes peeled and camera at the ready to capture how you are styling looks from our retailers. We took to the streets (aka the Queen Street Mall) and didn’t have to wait long to be inspired by some stylish locals.

There is a fine art to creating an edgy look with such a soft, feminine dress, but if anyone can nail it, it’s Bek Wall! She’s balanced her statement corsetry belt with a lighter toned bag and sneakers so that the accessories aren’t overpowering.

“My style is strongly constructed on my mood and usually has an element of quirk. Working in mental health has allowed me to easily connect with my emotions and I mirror that through my style. Whether I’m dressing feminine or edgy, my overall look will be a blend. I enjoy print clashing and am a sucker for a statement belt. I do love a good sneaker to dress down or edge up any outfit!”

Elevating a beautifully flowy Scanlan Theodore set from their summer collection with some luxe tan accessories, she hit the nail on the head when she described her weekend style as ‘feminine chic’. How she looks so perfectly put together with two boys under 5, we will never know!

“My Monday - Friday style is the modern mum. Inspired by 90s fashion, you’ll find me in my mum jeans, basic tees and bold sneakers. On weekends I’m feminine chic. I love flowy dresses, bright prints and slip-on mules.”
